Eric Pfeifer (pronounced "fifer") is a graduate of Vanderbilt University school of Engineering and grew up in Baltimore Maryland where he attended the Gilman School for Boys. He moved to Sanibel with his family in 2001 with a 3 year old daughter and 2 year old son. After 6 successful years in Sanibel Real Estate sales, Eric opened Pfeifer Realty Group on Sanibel in 2008.

I've enjoyed selling Southwest Florida real estate since 2002. I was born in the small but quaint town of Newport, Rhode Island, although most of my childhood memories are from my home in Westport, Massachusetts. A small fishing and farming town located at the mouth of Buzzards Bay, along the Atlantic Ocean and the Westport River, it is still very near and dear to my heart.


Jennifer McSorley, Realtor

Jen McSorley grew up in Grosse Pointe, Michigan and later moved to Ithaca, New York where she attended Cornell University, receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree in 1992. Before coming to Southwest Florida in 1999, Jen lived in Perth, Western Australia, Incline Village, Nevada, Paradise Island in the Bahamas, Chicago, Illinois, and Traverse City, Michigan. During her time in Florida, Jen lived in both Naples and Fort Myers before settling on Sanibel Island with her family in 2005.


Cathie Lewis, Realtor

Cathie is originally from Middlebury, Vermont and after living in various locations throughout the Northeast she settled in on Fort Myers Beach 23 years ago. After graduating from Hudson Valley Community College, she has worked in the public sector for more than 30 years focusing primarily with public utilities divisions. Cathie spent 8 years with the City of Sanibel helping to develop the Utility Department which was formed at the time the City purchased and began operating the majority of the wastewater facilities on the island. She assisted the City with the development of the funding mechanisms used to help the community establish an island wide


Kerri Maw, Realtor

Originally from Mendham, New Jersey, Kerri Maw began visiting Sanibel when her sister first moved to the island in 1998. Two years later Kerri’s mom moved to Sanibel. After many island visits and a desire to be closer to family, Kerri moved to the island in 2003 with her own family. Kerri and her husband Eric grew up together in Mendham, NJ and have been married for almost 25 years. Their two children, Colin and Courtney both graduated from The Sanibel School and went on to attend Bishop Verot Catholic High School in Fort Myers.


Kelly Huguenin, Realtor

Kelly Huguenin grew up in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and received a Bachelor degree in Business from Covenant College. She began her career in 1992 with SunTrust, in the mortgage department. Initially, working as the receptionist for a few short months, she quickly moved into a Mortgage Loan Processing position where she received numerous awards for her customer service level. After about 5 years of processing, she needed a new challenge. A position opened up in the construction department, where she became a Construction Manager, working hand in hand with builders on spec and custom homes.


Jeremy Conley, Realtor

Jeremy is a Southwest Florida native. Born in Fort Myers, Conley spent his childhood in Cape Coral. Sports played a major role during his teenage years as he excelled in both baseball and basketball. Soon after graduation he decided to launch his career in the restaurant business. Jeremy purchased a restaurant on Sanibel Island and operated it successfully for ten years. After starting a family, Jeremy was ready for a career change.


Greg Demaras, Realtor

A native of New York City, it was in 1985 that Greg launched his Real Estate career in Manhattan in the Commercial Management, Sales and Leasing side of the industry. In 2001 he relocated to the Shore region of New Jersey and further expanded his skill set by becoming expert in all aspects of the residential home market.

Wendy Kirschner, Realtor SCIS

Wendy grew up primarily in Southeast Asia and South America as her father was a diplomat with the United States Foreign Service. She and her family lived in Bolivia, Colombia, Guatemala, Thailand, and Indonesia. She then attended Brigham Young University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree followed by a Masters degree from Arizona State University. After graduation, she worked for the sports marketing firm Advantage International. Upon starting a family she decided to build her own small business which she did for the next twenty years as a private academic tutor and study coach. She and her husband, Rick, moved to Florida in 2009 from the Washington, D.C. area and more recently to Southwest Florida when he assumed the position as Canterbury School's Head of School in Fort Myers.


Jack Burden, Broker-Associate

Jack grew up in Miami, beginning his real estate career as a teenager. At 16, Jack worked as an apprentice, doing comparable market analysis, later, leasing warehouses and luxury condos. At 18, Jack received his Florida real estate license and began selling real estate.

The Burden family would spend weekends on Sanibel island, where Jack began his initiation as a ‘waterman’. Competitive sailing, diving, and spearfishing continued Jack’s love affair with the Florida coastline.


Bill LeJeune, Realtor

Bill LeJeune is Florida born and grew up in Atlanta, Georgia and Greensboro, North Carolina. He attended Appalachian State University in Boone North Carolina receiving a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a degree in Marketing. He began his career with American Express in Greensboro working in the card services retention and sales division. A passion for sales led to Bill taking an outside sales position in the currency handling industry. He was promoted and relocated to Annapolis Maryland where lived for 15 years, married and started his family, ultimately working as an Account Executive and Sales Director covering much of the U.S., Canada and Caribbean serving the Casino Gaming market selling and supporting a variety of gaming related equipment.

Allison has been visiting Sanibel since the 1980’s and her husband’s family has deep roots on the island. Her husband, Chauncey, was a member of the Sanibel City Council and her father in law was the City of Sanibel's very first Mayor.


Heather Chevalier, Office Manager, Closing Coordinator, Marketing, Graphic Designer

Heather is a native Cape Codder! ­ - She grew up in Massachusetts.

She attended the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth where she studied Graphic Design for 4 years. She received a Bachelor’s Degree and worked at an advertising agency in Osterville, Massachusetts. She continues to keep her graphic art stills sharp by doing Freelance work.


Kim Alexander, Listing Specialist & Notary Public

Originally for Boston, Massachusetts, Kim studied Hotel & Restaurant Management at Katherine Gibbs School. "I'm a Katie Gibbs Girl!" Passionate about wildlife and nature the move to Sanibel was a natural fit. "I was a fish out of water in the city".

Kim works closely with seller’s schedules creating a smooth listing process from staging tips to professional photography and required paperwork. During the active listing process, Kim provides showing feedback to our sellers. Kim has been a Notary Public for over 25 years and provides free notary services for clients and visitors. Amy von Keyserlingk, Director of First Impressions

Amy started coming to Sanibel around 1970, back when the causeway still had a drawbridge for sailboats. She recalls how as her family drove from the cold winters of Missouri, they would start sticking their hands out the windows trying to feel the warm air as they crossed into Florida. Her whole family fell in love with the shelling, nature, bike paths, and the quiet feeling of Sanibel.


Mary Ellen Pfeifer, Marketing Director

Mary Ellen Pfeifer is a Florida native who grew up in Orlando and vacationed on Sanibel every year beginning in 1969. Her love of shelling, the ocean and nature fueled her passion for Science. She is a graduate of the University of Central Florida where she obtained a Bachelors degree in Biology and a Minor in Chemistry. She later obtained a Masters Degree in Biochemistry in 1987 in conjunction with research she conducted for the United States Department of Agriculture. While at UCF, Mary Ellen became the first woman coxswain on the Men's prestigious Varsity Crew Team
