The global Covid-19 pandemic created many challenges throughout the year. For agents like Demaras who shifted efficiently to a virtual environment, the virus created hurdles, not roadblocks. Those real estate professionals who were agile and open-minded jumped the hurdles by learning and using every virtual tool available. Greg zoomed, face-timed, filmed property tours and created 3-D walk-throughs for clients to experience safely and remotely in the comfort of their own homes. Not only did agents need to understand how to use these powerful tools, but they also needed to educate many buyers on the new technology as well. During this challenging “new normal” created by the virus Greg and all Pfeifer Realty Group agents adhered to a strict in-person safety protocol. They would disinfect their way into the home using sanitizing wipes to turn on all lights and open doors. Masked prospective buyers were only allowed to tour a home without touching any surfaces, after which the agent would sanitize their way back out of the property. Any discussions occurred outside of the home in the driveway or parking lot to minimize time spent inside. These safe, social distance driveway discussions were effective and allowed many buyers to safely tour a home efficiently with Pfeifer Realty Group. Greg Demaras is an excellent example of an Agent who put his buyers and seller’s safety first. Greg did an excellent job navigating the “new normal” landscape created by the global pandemic.
