FUN FACT: Blind Pass is the stretch of water that runs between Sanibel & Captiva Islands from the Gulf of Mexico to Roosevelt Channel. Over time, storm waters and shifts in the sand caused this land strip to wash away exposing the pass where the the bridge is today.
