Pfeifer Supports Sanibel's Rec Center Party

JUNE 11, 2009 - Dairy Queen Sanibel is the first Island ice cream store and Pfeifer Realty Group is the first Island real estate firm to join the list of sponsors supporting the New Year’s Eve Party at the City’s Recreation Center.

All event proceeds will support scholarships, awarded upon financial need, for children who enroll in the after-school and summer childcare programs at the Recreation Center.

Dairy Queen Sanibel, 1048 Periwinkle Way, has been owned and operated by the Meyers family for nearly 4 decades. This family run business is a destination for delicious ice cream in countless combinations and American fare. The Meyers family sets the bar very high in its participation and continued support of numerous charities with its financial and in kind contributions. Kevin Meyers has a special affinity for the Sanibel Recreation Center where he is a significant participant in assisting the children with great treats on many occasions. Additionally, his long time manager Isabelle Gavin, a member of the pioneer Gavin family, has been a kind and helpful member in promoting our Island.

Eric Pfeifer, Broker-Owner of Pfeifer Realty Group, 1630 Periwinkle Way, has jumped on board as the first local real estate office to sponsor the New Year’s Eve party at the Sanibel Recreation Center. Eric is a consistent and reliable supporter of many local organizations. Most recently, Eric took over for Dick Muench as the commissioner of Sanibel Little League. You can call Eric, “Jr. Commish”.

Pfeifer Realty Group opened its doors in 2008 after Eric had six successful years at VIP Realty including being named the Top Sales Associate for all of Southwest Florida in 2005. Eric now has 11 sales associates and sells real estate throughout Southwest Florida. Notwithstanding the worst year in recent real estate history, Pfeifer and his agents have had a lot of success in the past 13 months. Pfeifer attributes his company’s success to his hard working agents, a great international internet presence, and an optimistic outlook on life. Eric, his wife Mary Ellen and children Darby and John have lived on Sanibel since 2001.

The sponsor recognition signs that Kevin and Jeanine, and Eric are holding are only $135 (larger signs are available at $195) and will be displayed in the Recreation Center from November 21, 2009 through January 15, 2010. Sea School Named as October Recipient

OCTOBER 2008, The Sanibel Sea School was selected once again as the recipeint of the Pfeifer Gives Back Communtiy Support Campaign. A $2,000 checek was presented to Dr. Bruce Neill and Evelyn Neill the co-founders of the Sanibel Sea School.

Campaign of Giving Continues with PURRE

SANIBEL ISLAND, FL, DECEMBER 14, 2007: Pfeifer, a Sanibel Realtor and full time island resident continues his community support campaign this week with a donation to PURRE (People United to Protect our Rivers and Estuaries). Pfeifer’s “Real Estate is… Community Support” campaign contributes funds to local non-profit organizations and community activities with each of his real estate closings. “This is a really exciting opportunity to support our community at the local level, and I look forward to continuing this campaign.” Pfeifer is making contributions to local organizations of his client’s choice with every closing. “Maureen & I are thankful that Eric has chosen PURRE as a recipient of the Pfeifer Community Support Campaign” said Mike Valiquette. “We look forward to seeing other local businesses step up, as Eric has done, to help local non-profit organizations. This mission of the Sea School is the promotion of marine conservation through education and positive hands-on experience. They are dedicated to teaching both adults and children about the creatures and habitats found on these barrier island ecosystems. “Man was born to wade” truly depicts the field education experience the Sanibel Sea School provides as they weave all forms of marine study into a vivid experience. They hope to foster a since of wonder and understanding of the marine world by providing an intimate perspective of the ocean, its inhabitants and the tightly woven fabric that makes up our global environment.
